Learning to make your own molds without the worry and without the expense. You can make more unique molds with 1 pound of ComposiMold than with 30 pounds of other mold making materials. Great for many different applications including designing protoypes, casting figurines, duplicating sculptures, molding models, and many other arts and crafts projects. Works great with Plaster, Concrete, Plastics,Candle wax, Soap and even Chocolate!

Heat Melt the Reusable Rubber Mold Making Material, ComposiMold, by heating in the microwave. Microwave times will vary. Start with short heating times until you understand how the microwave will heat the ComposiMold. You can also melt in a double boiler.
Duplicate To make molds, simply pour the ComposiMold over your master part after applying a Mold Release and Bubble Buster let the ComposiMold solidify by cooling. Remove the master part from the ComposiMold, apply a Mold Release to the mold, and pour or press in your casting material.
Reuse With the ComposiMold, many casts can be made with the same mold including plaster, wax, and plastic casts. When you finish making duplicate parts, reuse the ComposiMold to make more molds and cast parts. The unique aspect of ComposiMold is that it can be continuously remelted and reused to make new, unique molds.

ComposiMold-FC is a 100% reusable mold making material for chocolate, fondants, gum paste castings. It's a flexible, rubbery, molding material that works by melting and pouring. Many casts can be made using the same mold. ComposiMold-FC is good for the mold maker and confectionery artist because it can be reused to make different molds without worrying about wasting mold making material.

PowerMold is a firmer mold making material than our ComposiMold. It is also a 100% reusable mold making material that works by melting and pouring. Many casts can be made using the same mold. PowerMold is an excellent material for those wanting to learn and become involved in sculpting, modeling, and mold making without having to worry about mistakes or wasting material. PowerMold is a flexible, rubbery, thermoplastic that is great for small mold parts that require a stiffer mold making material. It is compatible with many different casting materials including clays, plaster, cement, epoxy, polyurethane, and many others.

 Powermold is perfect for: 2 parts molds, Polymer clay molds (Sculpey, Fimo polymer clay), Push molds

It's Shore Hardness is approximately 25 at 70 F. Color is semi-transparent dark amber. Melting temperature is 130 F. The part solidifies when the temperature cools. To speed up cooling, place the mold in the refrigerator or freezer.
Bubble Buster is a PVA mixture that reduces bubble formation when making your mold. It works by reducing the surface tension so the bubbles rise up and away from the mold surface.
To use: Liberally spray your original part with Bubble Buster after applying a mold release. Pour ComposiMold over your original part to make your mold. Bubble Buster is not intended for use in your mold for the casting process.

Mold Making Tips When heating for the first time in the microwave, use short durations to ensure that you do not overheat the ComposiMold.
